Join LICM in supporting essential workers who have helped our community throughout this challenging time.

In 2020, LICM donors generously supported the Museum’s campaign to provide essential workers and their families with some much needed respite and quality family time.  Thanks to many generous donors and a match by LICM, Museum admission tickets have been distributed to these community partners:

  • Cohen Children’s Hospital Nurses
  • Stop & Shop, Fulton Ave, Hempstead
  • Nassau County Police 3rd Precinct

LICM board and staff members thanked members of the 3rd Police Precinct for their support of the Museum and our community.

This campaign continues in 2021, as the impact of the COVID pandemic continues to require extraordinary service from our essential workers.  Admission tickets are $14 each, and can also be donated in blocks of any number.

$28 - provides 2 admission tickets to Essential worker and a child
$56 - provides 4 admission tickets to Essential worker and family

All donations will be matched by LICM to double the impact.

Long Island Children’s Museum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the children and families in our community. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all – a gathering place where families can come together to learn about one another and the world we share.
We offer an array of engaging programs and experiences that are as varied as the interests and personalities of the visitors we see every day.  Our innovative Community Outreach programs reach thousands of those in need in our surrounding neighborhoods.  The Children’s Museum aims to broaden horizons, spark curiosity and encourage a love of learning to last a lifetime.

We invite you to join us as an advocate for children by supporting LICM - contributions can go toward tickets for Essential workers or to our annual  Friends of Children Fund that supports programming throughout the year.
