Below are a variety of ways individuals give - from a simple social media fundraiser to a more sophisticated planned giving.

Donate Online - Make a secure contribution. You can select a one time or recurring donation.
Donate by Mail - Please make your check or money order payable to the Long Island Children’s Museum, and send to: Long Island Children’s Museum, c/o Development Department, 11 Davis Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530.

Commemorative Gifts - Celebrate a friend or family member by making an honorary or memorial donation. Commemorative gifts can be donated using any of the options above. If you'd like for us to send a personalized letter to the individual or family being honored, please include their name and contact infomation in the notes.
Matching Gifts - Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program. The impact of your gift to Long Island Children’s Museum may be doubled or possibly tripled!
Donor Advised Fund or Family Foundation - If you have a Donor Advised Fund or Family Foundation, kindly consider making a donation in support of a specific program or offering or to general support for the Museum.
Gifts of Stock and Wire Transfers - LICM welcomes gifts of stock, securities, mutual fund shares, and wire transfers. Kindly contact Erika Floreska, email@example.com or 516-224-5813 for transfer instructions.
Consider a Gift Through Your IRA - If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free distribution from your traditional or Roth IRA to the Long Island Children’s Museum of up to $100,000 each year. Contact your IRA administrator to request a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA account to LICM. Corporate Giving - LICM offers a variety of benefits to companies who want to support LICM. Corporate Memberships provide employees tickets to visit the Museum. See options: Corporate Membership Levels (PDF). Special Event sponsorships provide access and exposure to the LI Business community through our annual gala, Cupcakes and Cocktails, see here. Exhibit Sponsorships provide branding and awareness to our LICM visitors and guests over a period of time. - We get 52% of our income from earned revenue - admission fees, field trips, theater sales and other sources; and 48% from donations - grants, sponsorships, events, and memberships.
- We are not a County-run facility. All the Museum’s operating costs are earned independently.
