LICM is grateful for the support provided by our corporate and foundation partners. Contributed funds make up nearly half of the revenue necessary for LICM to operate, 48% coming from grants, donations, memberships, and events. Every donation plays a specific role in the Musem's development process.

Cupcakes & Cocktails
LICM’s only annual fundraiser – for grownups – is unlike traditional fundraising events. Cupcakes & Cocktails features a continuous cocktail party, engaging activities, entertainment and fun, with exposure to the LI business community. Proceeds from this annual event enable LICM to advance its museum-based educational programs and cultural experiences and extend its community outreach programs across Long Island.
Corporate and Foundation Partnerships
Working together with corporate and foundation partners, LICM is able to deliver high-quality programs and exhibits to the public, as well as specific audiences in need of support. We work together with our corporate and foundation partners to create customized opportunities that achieve LICM's mission to connect all our communities’ children, and those who care for them, to one another and a life of wonder, imagination and exploration. Examples of programs and events funded by corporate and foundation sponsors include:
- Long-standing Community and Access Programs such as STEM Explorers powered by Green Teens
- Highly attended annual events such as Countdown to 12
- Cultural celebrations including our Holi Festival
- Themed activities like the Charming Cookie Necklaces and What's Inside Your Lunchbox? lessons and take-home crafts
