Free Admission
Members receive unlimited admission all year long. Membership discount applied upon check out for online purchases and ticket reservations. Discounts for purchases at the Box Office require valid ID or Membership card.
Discounted Admission
All other discounts are applied at the LICM Box Office. Discounted tickets cannot be reserved in advance.
- AAA: Current AAA members receive $2 off admission for up to 4 people. Card required.
- ACM Reciprocal Network: Members of other children’s museums that include ACM Reciprocal Network benefits can receive 50% off admission for up to six people. Check your membership cards and ACM Reciprocal Network policy for current rules.
- ASTC Travel Passport: Members of participating science museums may receive free general admission for up to four guests at LICM. To qualify, both your home address and the museum where you hold your membership must be more than 90 miles from LICM. Additional exclusions and requirements apply. - Library Pass Program: Some libraries have admission passes for LICM, allowing patrons to reserve tickets in advance through their local library. Please contact your local library for details. Please note, library passes are only applicable during LICM's public hours; they may not be used for special events.
- Military Discount: Free admission for one active duty OR retired military OR their spouse showing military ID, plus one child. This discount applies to general admission during public Museum hours, and does not apply to special events, workshops or theater.
- Museums for All - This program allows families receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) to visit the Museum for a discounted admission of $5 per person with the presentation of a valid EBT card and picture ID. EBT cards cannot be used a payment for Museum admittance. Payments must be made using cash or credit card. Up to 4 people may be admitted per EBT card at this reduced fee. This discount applies to general admission only during public Museum hours, and does not apply to special events, workshops or theater. Museums for All is an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and administered by the Association of Children’s Museums through a cooperative agreement with IMLS. - Museums on Us: Present your active Bank of America credit or debit card with photo ID to gain one free general admission the first full weekend of every month. Photo ID is required for all visitors along with the credit or debit card; acceptable forms of photo ID for children include passports, school ID, etc.
- Senior Discount: $2 off admission tickets for each self-identifying senior (age 65+).
- THIRTEEN: Current THIRTEEN members will receive $2 discount on admission for up to four people. Card required.
