Transparency and openness are important values at Long Island Children’s Museum (“LICM”) LICM may offer content, information and interactive features through its website at www.licm.org. (“The Website”) These Website Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are provided to enable you to understand how information may be collected on The Website, our efforts to safeguard your data and other conditions that apply to your visit to the website.  

By visiting the website and/or using the services or products offered by LICM through the website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

You are welcome to visit LICM’s Website and use its publicly available content and services without registering or submitting any personally identifiable information. Some Website content or services may not be available or be limited if you chose not to register.  

Registration for users and members on www.licm.org enables you to maintain your contact information and preferences, receive member discounts (if applicable), purchase tickets more quickly and receive notifications about events that interest you. When you register, you will be asked to create a unique user name and password which you may be able to use to gain access to content, services and products that LICM offers through the website.

Online Memberships and Donations 

When you purchase an LICM membership or donate to LICM online, you’ll will be asked to provide us with the information we need to process your membership and/or to acknowledge your contribution. Information required will include: your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, email address and credit card information. Credit card information will only be used as needed to process your membership and will never be stored after the transaction is completed.  

When you donate to LICM online, you’ll will be asked to provide us with the information we need to process and/or to acknowledge your contribution. In the case of a recurring donation, information will be retained securely in order to process each recurring gift.

Information provided will help us better understand our audience, which in turn allows us to better meet your needs and interests. LICM offers visitors to our website the opportunity to subscribe to our Email News. You may also be offered an opportunity to subscribe to other LICM newsletters, blogs or social media posts in the future If you choose to subscribe, you will receive news updates and program information.
