Meet the team from North Shore Animal League America and explore four interactive activity stations. Families will discover how animals and people share emotions and learn ways to show empathy, compassion, and responsible care for pets through four stations based on the NSALA mission to Rescue, Nurture, Adopt, and Educate.
The Yale developed curriculum addresses the well-being of children and helps them to develop their social-emotional learning skills. Connect the fun by visiting LICM's current traveling exhibit, Emotions at Play Pixar’s Inside Out, and practice the skills you learned with Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger.
Be sure to visit the Mobile Adoption Unit to meet adorable, adoptable animals.
This is a free event with Museum admission.
