Join us for an exciting opportunity to meet Kelly Olshan, our current Artists’ Corner artist. Learn about Kelly’s artwork, how she made it, and what inspires her. Create with Kelly, using materials and techniques she uses, to create your own work of art during two free workshops: 1 - 2 pm and 3 - 4 pm.
The Amethyst Playground exhibition is in two locations in the Museum: as a large-scale lobby installation to greet all visitors; and continued upstairs in the “Artists’ Corner” exhibition space. Designed to be interactive, Amethyst Playground invites children to co-construct an imagined world: to rearrange abstract puzzles, navigate other worldly geometries, and play with textures sourced from the artmaking process.
