For the month of August AdvoKids will learn about kindess advocate Orion Jean. Orion Jean is a humanitarian, author and founder of the Race to Kindness. Visitors will learn about Orion Jeans inspirational story and create a Acts of Kindness Wheel to spread kindness around their communities.
This is a drop-in program, free with admission. The craft is yours to keep.
Tickets for the 30 minute workshops at 11 AM and Noon are free and will be available for up to 20 participants at the Box Office the day of the event.
"AdvoKids” is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.
