Join us for a special adults-only evening as we welcome artist Kelly Olshan, whose work will be featured in Amethyst Playground, opening at LICM this January. During this intimate Artists' Corner gathering, guests will meet Kelly, learn about her creative process, and participate in a hands-on artmaking workshop inspired by her upcoming exhibition.
Kelly will walk us through her artistic process, from idea to fabrication and installation. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own pieces of art based on the materials and process that Kelly uses, that can either be taken home or incorporated into her upcoming LICM exhibit.
Amethyst Playground is a multi-sensory exhibit that will transform LICM’s outer lobby and Artists’ Corner gallery into an interactive world of abstract color, form and texture from January 31 through August 2, 2026.
