What happens when art and science come together? Join artist Christie Jones in this hands-on STEAM workshop, kids will explore how artists can transform natural materials into colorful, eco-friendly paint while learning about the amazing underwater world of oysters.
Discover how oysters help clean our coastal waters, create habitat for marine life, and support healthy ecosystems.
Participants will make their own paint using natural pigments and create a vibrant underwater ecosystem painting inspired by Long Island's bays. Everyone will leave with a finished artwork and a new appreciation for the connections between creativity, science, and the environment.
