Talleres Para los Niños (pdf)

stART (story+art)
Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.–noon Ages 3 to 5
Join us each week as we read childhood classics and introduce new favorites; followed by literature-inspired activities and crafts.

Music and Movement
Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.–noon Ages 5 and under
Join us for a musical morning that gets little bodies moving; pick up a musical instrument and add your voice to our sing along songs session.

Kids in the Kitchen
Friday from 11:30 a.m.–noon Ages 3 to 5
Each week, we'll be making an easy and yummy, kid-friendly snack (cookies, mini pizzas, etc) that they make from start to finish. Helping in the kitchen is a great learning tool as children practice measuring ingredients, following directions and building their vocabulary. Join us as we mix things up in the kitchen to stir an interest in kitchen creativity and healthy eating.

Messy Afternoons
Saturday and Sunday, 3:30–5 p.m.
Ages 18 months to 4 years.
We'll be up to our elbows in oobleck, clean mud and slime … and we hope you'll join us for the type of artistic activities that everyone loves, but not one likes to clean-up after. Except us! Free with admission.

Fee: $3 with museum admission ($2 LICM members).

Obtain tickets at the box office. All programs subject to change without notice. Tickets for Early Childhood programs are available at the LICM box office on the day of programs. To prevent disruptions of classes, ticket sales will stop five minutes before the start time of each workshop.

Family Workshops

Throughout the year, the Children’s Museum offers multi-week workshop series, aimed at infants, toddlers, and parents, to add another technique to the parent/child learning repertoire. Past programs have covered such topics as American Sign Language and Mommy and Baby Yoga.

Please check back later for upcoming Parenting Workshops.
