Have you ever wondered how furniture is created or what inspires artists to sculpt from wood? Come meet artist Ian Love, discover how he creates his work and practice some of the skills Ian uses throughout his creative process.
Sculptor and self-taught artist Ian Love gives salvaged trees fallen near his Long Island home new life as he turns them into a range of art and furniture. With sustainability in mind, Ian hand carved each piece, aiming to use as much of the tree as possible to create beautiful and often functional new creations.
Tickets for the 30 minute workshops at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM are free and will be available for up to 20 participants at the Box Office the day of the event.
There will also be a free, drop-in craft for all ages inspired by the work of Ian Love in the Inner Lobby from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
