Background Information
A permanent outdoor exhibition involves considerable resources including staff time, outside contractors, a full exhibit planning process and budget. We have outlined below the exhibit development process that went into the final phase of Our Backyard.

Donor Development
A generous private donation in late 2008 allowed us to further deepen the exhibit’s content offerings by commissioning artists to create contextual sculptures related to the exhibit’s mission.
